“美丽中国”是中国共产党第十八次全国代表大会提出的概念，“把生态文明建设放在突出地位，融入经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设各方面和全过程，努力建设美丽中国，实现中华民族永续发展。”
The concept of “Beautiful China” was put forward at the 18th CPC National Congress, highlighting the importance of building an ecological civilization, which should be integrated into all aspects and processes of economic, political, cultural, and social development, with an aim to build a Beautiful China and achieve sustainable development of the Chinese nation.

The Beauty of Sound Ecology & Environment
美丽中国，最直接的体现在于生态环境之美。天更蓝、地更绿、山更青、水更清、空气更清新，这是中国人民对美丽中国生态环境最直观的解读。这样的美丽中国是既要金山银山，又要绿水青山的中国。
The beauty of a good ecological environment is the most direct manifestation of Beautiful China.With bluer skies, greener land and mountains, clearer water, and fresher air, it is the Chinese people’s most intuitive interpretation of the ecological environment of Beautiful China. It emphasizes the importance of balancing environmental protection with economic development.
永续发展之美
建设美丽中国的最终目的是实现中华民族永续发展。建设生态文明是中华民族永续发展的千年大计。我们在生产活动中必须有整体意识和长远眼光，在开发利用生态资源时，要顾及其他人的生态利益同时要留足后代人生存和发展所必要的生态资源，最终实现中华民族永续发展。
The ultimate goal of building a Beautiful China is to achieve the sustainable development of the Chinese nation. Ecological civilization is a millennium-long plan. In our production activities, we must have a holistic awareness and long-term vision. When developing and utilizing ecological resources, we should consider the ecological interests of others to ensure that sufficient ecological resources are reserved for future generations and lead to the sustainable development of the Chinese nation.
和谐共生之美
The Beauty of Harmony of Human & Nature
“美丽中国”首先倡导人与自然关系的和谐，人类应自觉做到珍惜资源、节约资源，取之有度，消费有节。其次强调的是人与人之间的和谐，相互尊重、相互帮助、相互诚信、相互理解。再次强调人与社会的和谐。人是社会的人，人不能离开社会。社会是由人组成的社会，是人们交互作用的产物，社会是在人们相互作用中发展。
“Beautiful China” first advocates for the harmony of humans and nature, and people should consciously cherish and conserve resources, take only what is necessary, and consume with moderation. Secondly, it emphasizes harmony, mutual respect, assistance, trust, and understanding between people. Finally, it highlights the harmony between individuals and society. People are part of society and cannot be separated from it. Composed of people, Society is a product of their interactions and develops through these interactions.

新时代我国社会的主要矛盾经转化为人民群众日益增长的美好生活需要我国当前发展和不平衡不充分的发展之间的矛盾。美丽中国在体现自然美的同时，也蕴含着经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设、生态文明建设“五位一体”相互融合、协调发展之美，最终达到经济繁荣、政治清明、文化先进、社会和谐、生态美丽的美好局面，才是美丽中国发展的旨意所在。In the new era of China, the primary contradiction in society has transformed into the contradiction between people’s growing need for a better life and the current development and unbalanced and insufficient development in the country. Beautiful China not only reflects the beauty of nature but also encompasses the harmony and coordination among economic, political, cultural, social, and ecological civilization constructions. Ultimately, it aims to achieve an excellent situation of economic prosperity, political integrity, cultural advancement, social harmony, and ecological beauty, which is the meaning and purpose of the development of Beautiful China.
新时代发展历史
New History
2012年11月8日，党的十八大提出：“把生态文明建设放在突出地位，融入经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设各方面和全过程，努力建设美丽中国，实现中华民族永续发展。”这是美丽中国首次作为执政理念提出，也是中国建设五位一体格局形成的重要依据。
On November 8, 2012, the 18th CPC National Congress put forward the concept of “placing the construction of ecological civilization in a prominent position, integrating it into all aspects and processes of economic, political, cultural, and social development, striving to build a Beautiful China, and achieving the sustainable development of the Chinese nation.” This was the first time that Beautiful China was proposed as a governing philosophy, which later became an important basis for the formation of the pattern of building five interlocking systems in China.
2015年10月29日，党的十八届五中全会公报提出，国家要坚持绿色发展，坚持节约资源、环境保护和可持续发展的基本原则。要树立推进美丽国家建设、人与自然和谐共处的现代化新格局。这是“美丽中国”首次纳入五年计划。
On October 29, 2015, the Communique of the CPC Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee proposed that the country should adhere to green development and uphold the basic principles of resource conservation, environmental protection, and sustainable development. It also called for the establishment of a modern new pattern promoting the construction of a Beautiful China and harmony between humans and nature. This was the first time that Beautiful China was included in the five-year plan.
2017年10月18日，习近平同志在十九大报告中指出，加快生态文明体制改革，建设美丽中国。他对生态文明建设提出了一系列新思想、新目标、新要求和新部署，为建设美丽中国提供了根本遵循和行动指南，更是首次把美丽中国作为建设社会主义现代化强国的重要目标。
On October 18, 2017, President Xi Jinping pointed out in his report at the 19th CPC National Congress that we should accelerate the reform of the ecological civilization system and build a Beautiful China. He put forward a series of new ideas, goals, requirements, and deployments for the construction of ecological civilization, providing fundamental guidance and an action plan for building it. It was the first time that Beautiful China was regarded as an important goal for building a socialist modernized country.
党的二十大报告从全面建设社会主义现代化国家、推进人与自然和谐共生的现代化的战略高度，将“城乡人居环境明显改善，美丽中国建设成效显著”列入未来五年的主要目标任务。这充分体现了城乡人居环境建设在党和国家事业发展全局中的重要地位，彰显了我们党以人民为中心的发展思想。
The report of the 20th CPC National Congress highlights the strategic importance of building a socialist modernized country and promoting the harmonious co-existence between humans and nature. It lists “significantly improving the urban and rural living environment and achieving significant results in building a Beautiful China” as one of the main goals and tasks for the next five years. This fully reflects the critical position of urban and rural living environment construction in the overall development of the party and the state, demonstrating the party’s people-oriented development ideology.

近日，《广东省教育厅关于认定第五批“广东省绿色学校”的通知》公布第五批“广东省绿色学校”创建达标名单，雷竞技ray官方网站平台被认定为“广东省绿色学校”。近年来，广外雷竞技ray官方网站平台将绿色学校建设纳入学校发展总体规划部署推进，把生态文明理念融入人才培养目标，强化顶层设计，注重机制创新，加强协调联动，推动落实落细，营造了绿色学校创建人人参与、创建成果人人共享的创建长效机制和新格局。Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education announced the list of schools that have met the standards for the fifth batch of “Green Schools in Guangdong Province”. South China Business College was recognized as one of them. In recent years, SCBC has included Green School construction in its overall development plan and incorporated the concept of ecological civilization into its talent training goals. It has strengthened top-level design, focused on innovative mechanisms, enhanced coordination, promoted implementation and refinement, and created a long-term mechanism and a new pattern in which everyone participates in building a green campus and shares the results.
学校将绿色学校创建纳入中长期发展规划，在校园建设或改造工作中，因地制宜开展“资源节约型、环境友好型”建设及建筑节能、节水等绿色化改造，取得了较好的效果。充分利用现有的地形、地貌、水塘、湖泊等连成水系，使校园生态形成一个整体，营造出雅致、舒适、美观的校园环境。学校绿化覆盖率达40.32%，通过环境育人，体现校园独特的文化气息和思想内涵，借以帮助学生提升素质，完善人格。
The university has incorporated the creation of a Green Campus into its medium and long-term development plan. In the construction or renovation of campus facilities, it has tailored its efforts to local conditions, promoting resource-saving, environment-friendly construction and implementing green transformations such as building energy and water conservation, which have achieved good results. The existing land forms, water ponds, and lakes and 40.32 % of green coverage have been fully utilized to make the campus ecology an organic whole and create a beautiful, comfortable, and pleasant campus environment. Through environmental education, it reflects the unique cultural atmosphere and ideological connotations of the campus, helping students improve their overall qualities and character.
雷竞技ray官方网站平台自绿色学校计划启动以来，始终坚持践行美丽中国理念，将绿色发展和可持续性作为重要目标，致力于创建一个环境友好、生态宜居、人文卓越的校园。具体而言，学校注重开展环保教育、推广低碳生活方式、营造绿色低碳环境、加强环保管理与监督等方面工作。此外，学校积极参与环保公益活动，不断强化师生的环保意识和责任感，努力培养有环保意识、有社会责任感、有创新精神的综合性人才，落实美丽中国的目标和愿景。
Since the launch of the green campus program, SCBC has consistently adhered to the concept of Beautiful China. With an emphasis on green development and sustainability, it is committed to creating an environmentally friendly, ecologically livable campus with a humanistic landscape. Specifically, SCBC focuses on environmental education to promote a green environment and low-carbon life styles and strengthens environmental management and supervision. In addition, the university actively participates in environmental public welfare activities, continuously strengthens environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility among teachers and students, strives to cultivate comprehensive talents with environmental awareness, social responsibility, and innovation spirit and implements the goals and aspirations of Beautiful China.
