为中国人民谋幸福，为中华民族谋复兴，是中国共产党人的初心和使命，是激励一代代中国共产党人前赴后继、英勇奋斗的根本动力。时空变化，初心始终如磐；历史变迁，使命永远在肩。习近平总书记在党的二十大报告中向全党同志郑重提出“三个务必”， 谱写新时代中国特色社会主义更加绚丽的华章。
Working for the happiness of the Chinese people and for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has been the original aspiration and mission of the Chinese Communist Party, as well as the fundamental driving force that inspires generations of Chinese Communists to forge ahead and fight bravely. Despite changes in time and space, our original aspirations remain steadfast, and our mission is always on our shoulders. General Secretary Xi Jinping solemnly put forward “Three Imperatives” in the report to the 19th National Congress of the CPC, marking a new chapter in building socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
务必不忘初心、牢记使命
It is imperatives that we never forget our original aspiration and founding mission.
习近平总书记强调：“中国共产党一经诞生，就把为中国人民谋幸福、为中华民族谋复兴确立为自己的初心使命。” 务必不忘初心、牢记使命，鲜明地体现了全党必须牢记中国共产党是什么、要干什么这个根本问题，要求我们始终坚定理想信念，牢记党的初心使命、牢记党的根本宗旨。
“Since its birth, the CPC established the pursuit of happiness for the Chinese people and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as its original aspiration and mission.” General Secretary Xi Jinping said. The call to never forget the party’s original aspirations and to always keep the mission in mind vividly embodies the fundamental question of what the CPC is and what we must do. It demands that we always remain steadfast in our ideals and beliefs, remember the Party’s original aspiration and mission, and keep in mind our fundamental tenets.
我们要时刻牢记党的宗旨是全心全意为人民服务，要时刻牢记中国共产党是为最广大人民的根本利益而奋斗的党，始终坚持人民至上，始终保持同人民群众同呼吸、共命运、心连心。
We must always bear in mind that the Party’s purpose is to serve the people wholeheartedly, that the CPC is a party that strives for the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people, that the people come first, and that we share a common destiny with the people.
务必谦虚谨慎、艰苦奋斗
It is imperative that we always stay modest, prudent, and hard-working.
“谦虚谨慎、艰苦奋斗”，是我们党的光荣传统和优良作风，也是党在不同历史时期战胜各种风险挑战、不断从胜利走向胜利的重要保证。人类社会的发展进步，从来都不是直线式运动的简单过程，而是在不断解决矛盾中波浪式前进、螺旋式上升的复杂过程。这就要求我们清醒分析事物发展趋势，仔细研判可能遇到的风险挑战，始终保持忧患意识，慎终如始地做好各项工作。
Remaining modest, prudent, and working hard to overcome difficulties is a glorious tradition and fine work style of our party, but also an important guarantee for the party to overcome various risks and challenges in different historical periods and to continue to succeed. The progress of human society has never been a simple linear process, but rather a complex process of advancing in waves and spirals through the continuous resolution of contradictions. This requires us to soberly analyze the trend of development, carefully assess the potential risks and challenges that may be encountered, always maintain a sense of vigilance, and start all our work with great caution.
历史和实践已经证明，始终具有谦虚谨慎、艰苦奋斗优良作风的政党，才能兴旺发达，不断取得一个又一个胜利。全面建设社会主义现代化国家，是一项伟大而艰巨的事业，前途光明，任重道远。
History and practice have proven that only political parties that always have a modest, prudent, and hardworking style can make great strides. Building a modern socialist country in all respects is a great and arduous endeavor. Our future is bright, but we still have a long way to go.
务必敢于斗争、善于斗争
It is imperative that we have the courage and ability to carry on our fight.
“敢于斗争、善于斗争”，这是新时代党领导人民推动党和国家事业取得历史性成就、发生历史性变革的重要经验。中华民族伟大复兴，绝不是轻轻松松、敲锣打鼓就能实现的。全党必须准备付出更为艰巨、更为艰苦的努力。实现伟大梦想，必须进行伟大斗争。
“Daring to struggle and being good at struggling” is an important experience for the Party in the new era, leading the people to achieve historic achievements and make historic shifts in the cause of the Party and the country. Achieving national rejuvenation will be no walk in the park, and it will take more than drum beating and gong clanging to get there. The whole Party must be prepared to make even more arduous and arduous efforts. Realizing our great dream demands a great struggle.
“敢于斗争”就是要保持斗争的勇气，不信邪、不怕鬼、不怕压，知难而进、迎难而上；而“善于斗争”就是要讲究斗争的方法和策略，在斗争之前做好准备，抓住主要矛盾和矛盾的主要方面。
To “dare to struggle” means to maintain the courage to fight, we cannot be swayed by fallacies, deterred by intimidation, or cowed by pressure. We must meet obstacles and difficulties head-on. And “good at struggling” means we must pay attention to the methods and strategies and make good preparation before the struggle and seize the main contradiction and the main aspects of the contradiction.

New History
1949年3月，毛主席在中共七届二中全会上提出“两个务必”,务必使同志们继续地保持谦虚、谨慎、不骄、不躁的作风，务必使同志们继续地保持艰苦奋斗的作风。
In March 1949, Chairman Mao Zedong put forward the “Two Imperatives” at the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee of the CPC, emphasizing that comrades must continue to maintain a modest, prudent, unassuming, and calm style, and must also continue to maintain the style of working hard and persevering through difficulties.
如今，中共已走过百年，在成功实现全面建成小康社会第一个百年奋斗目标基础上，迈上全面建设社会主义现代化国家新的“赶考”之路，在历史的关键时刻再次发出动员令，以“三个务必”告诫全党。
Today, as the CPC has reached its centennial milestone and successfully achieved the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects in the new journey to comprehensively build a modern socialist country. At this critical moment, “Three Imperatives”, as a call to action once again, reminds the entire Party of its responsibilities.
2022年10月16日，习近平总书记在中国共产党第二十次全国代表大会上的报告上强调，全党同志务必不忘初心、牢记使命，务必谦虚谨慎、艰苦奋斗，务必敢于斗争、善于斗争。坚定历史自信，增强历史主动，谱写新时代中国特色社会主义更加绚丽的华章。
On October 16, 2022, in his report at the 20th CPC National Congress, General Secretary Xi emphasized that all Party members must not forget their original aspirations and keep their mission in mind, must always remain modest and prudent, work hard to overcome difficulties, must dare to struggle and being good at it. We must strengthen our confidence in history, enhance our initiative in history and write a new, even more splendid chapter in building socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.

作为新时代青年，我们既要深刻把握“三个务必”的丰富内涵、内在关系和重大意义，又要激扬青春、勤于实践，埋头苦干、奋勇前进，为全面建设社会主义现代化国家、全面推进中华民族伟大复兴而团结奋斗，在新时代新征程上展现新气象新作为。
As the young people of the new era, we should not only have a deep grasp of the rich connotation, internal relationship, and great significance of the “Three Imperatives”, but also inspire our youthfulness and engage actively in practical work, working hard and advancing bravely. We must unite and strive for the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, demonstrating new momentum and achievements in the new journey of the new era.

South China Business College, GDUFS is currently facing its biggest challenge, transforming into an independent private university from GDUFS. Professor Zhou Wengui, the Director of Center for Teaching Quality Supervision and Evaluation, pointed out that the university is facing a series of internal and external difficulties, such as lack of financial support from the government, insufficient high-quality faculty and management talents, limited teaching and research resources, and shortage of teaching facilities, constrained development due to the small size of student number.

During the difficult process of transformation, SCBC must adhere to its tenets, inherit and carry forward excellent traditions, comprehensively implement the fundamental task of moral education, strengthen educational reform and innovation, explore scientific education management models, and further promote the level of school operation.
